Sighting Text:
PA FRANKLIN 1996 TR89 39 55N 77 48W ELV 647 FT * BFRO: Report from Pennsylvania, USA From: harrackdm@bc.sympatico.ca (Dawn Harrack) bfro-list@moneymaker.org, curators@moneymaker.org Subject: Report from Pennsylvania, USA J.J.P. in April, 1996, was near St. Thomas, and several miles from route 30. He lived on an 83 acre farm going wild, much of it wooded. Witness lived in a trailer where he kept windows covered due to the feeling of being watched...felt weird. Especially down the embankment directly off of the road. Subject built a large bonfire one evening and after 20 minutes heard a very loud vocalization. At first it sound like a bird but listening more closely, it sounded more like a person screaming shrilly. The creature was never sighted even though it circled at a distance. Witness had a feeling of dread. Two other witnesses just thought it was some sort of animal.

Sighting Text:
PA INDIANA 1998 TR#75 * Sam Sherry, Mar. 12, PD Box 237-A, Ligonier, PA 15658. Stan Gordon had an article in the local paper. It was a report on sightings for the whole year. He does not give all details. There is one sighting mentioned on Chestnut Ridge, PA. 8 to 9 feet tall, long arms, muscular and white fur. One very large three toed track was found in Indiana County. I sent this newspaper clipping to Don Keating for his meeting on Saturday. We did not plan on going to Don’s affair, although Paul Johnson decided at the last minute to go. He was a little late, but was glad to meet you. I am in the process of running down an area near Blairsville where there are old coal mines. There are also frequent sightings of giant white Bigfeet by three men whose names are known, but they are very reluctant to discuss it.

PA INDIANA 1998 TR#82 40 29N 079 27W * Sam Sherry of Ligonier, PA sent a clipping from the Ligonier Echo, Oct 1st, 1998. Sam reports there have been “sporadic Bigfoot creature sightings reported by a park ranger at Loyalhanna Dam in the State Park area, near and around Saltsburg, PA. Details pending.” The editorial continues, “disheartening is that Bigfoot seems to have left the Chestnut Ridge area of the Ligonier Valley and shifted his whereabouts northward to Indiana County and westward to Ohio. “Had we taken steps to protect the Chestnut Ridge, perhaps Bigfoot would still be a resident wonder. Now I fear hopes are fading that Bigfoot will be captured here, and displayed in the Fort Ligonier Days Parade. Talk about shooting yourself in the big foot!” Sam had written before about mining operations on the ridge.

On a cliff over the stream they saw a Bigfoot pushing a large rock. Estimated at 7 1/2 feet; covered with long brown hair; and no facial details noted. It was about 30 yards away; and the witnesses ran away after about ten seconds. PA 1999 TR#92 * tocscot@yahoo.com (Scot Cheryl) Reply-to: OHPABFOOT@onelist.com On JO/21, Bruce, Scot, and his fiancee were hiking near Ice Box cave In Cuyahoga Valley, PA, on Saturday. From the top of a cliff about 15-20 feet high, a dead tree limb, 7'8" long, and 25#, came over the top, and passed abut four feet in front of Scot's head, moving quite rapidly. No response was heard from yelling about people being down there. Later Scot tried himself and couldn't do it. The closest tree line was some 20-25 steps away. There was a doe deer bedded down that would not run, only glancing at Scot, her attention riveted to a spot in the trees. . Scot's brother had an experience a year earlier where he came upon a doe bedded down in the trees that would not move, only glancing at him, but keeping her eyes mostly riveted to a spot in the tree line adjacent to him. The doe would not move in that direction, but once he made her move, and she circled him, opting to come past him rather than towards the spot she had been staring at.
