About 2 AM while in his tent, witness woke up to hear in the woods some 50 yards away a stomping and crashing of small trees. The noise was not coming near me, and witness could hear barking dogs in pursuit, a quick time CRASH, CRASH, CRASH, CRASH sound being made. After 30 seconds the crashing noise stopped, and the dog barked a few more times, and then made that sound that dogs make when injured. There was no more noise that night.

CA MENDOCINO 1990 TR98 * An email message next morning from: From: edg@northcoast.com (Ed Greenwood) I heard you on Coast to Coast, and just want to let you know that I saw an adult and 2 younger ones in Mendocino County (CA), about 10 years ago. It was from a distance (200 - 300 yards), the younger ones came up to the shoulder of the adult. They were walking in single file, upright, with a "human" type stance and build. I went down to were I saw them, and found a trail going down a very steep ravine. I started down the trail, then noticed that the vegetation was starting to look trampled down (like when you get close, 20 - 30 feet, from a bear den). At that time turned around and got out as fast as I could. I never went back since there was no way you could do so safely, without a firearm.

Bragg, CA. “A bunch of Mexican loggers were attacked by a Bigfoot out in the woods three days ago (May 7th). It came screaming out of the brush and the Mexicans thought it wanted their lunches, but they were sorely mistaken, they threw all of their beans and tacos at the beast - it threw everything right back at them, screaming and roaring at the top of its voice, it was a vicious beast and attacked with no mercy. It threw Mexicans over the bank and broke arms and legs. One Mexican ran for help and found the Georgia Pacific helicopter and pilot. They both went back to find the wounded Mexicans, and saw the creature running up a skid-road. The pilot said it would weigh at least 500 to 800 pounds, and would stand approximately 8 feet tall. They found tracks everywhere and made several plaster of Paris castings. I will send you the article about the entire incident. The Bigfoot population is growing by leaps and bounds; the Mendocino County Agricultural Department estimates that there are about 70 Bigfeet in Mendocino County alone, and they are warning people to stay out of the woods until the beasts are eliminated. Tell all of your friends about this. I am going to get an article in the Anderson Valley Advertiser. I know the owner of the paper and he will write anything that I tell him.” Ray Wallace adds, “The Mexicans had been shooting at the females and their young ones with a shotgun loaded with bird shot to scare them away from where they were picking huckleberry greenery, so the old male attacked the Mexicans. Summary: 8 FT BLACK BF ATTACKS SUNNING ON BEACH SEA LIONS, BF BITTEN ON LEG
Sighting Text:
CA MENDOCINO 1997 TR#74 (This is a letter Ray Wallace received and is sharing with us, no date-last year Ray says, from Dennis McMahon, Fort Bragg, CA) Ray, there was another Bigfoot attack on the herd of sea lions that inhabit the Noyo River Basin (AT FORT BRAGG). Four tourists who were eye witness’ to the attack told the public that a giant black beast standing approximately 8 feet tall came running out of the brush just up the river from the harbor. They said that there was a pod of sea lions on the bank sunning themselves and the big black creature attacked without warning. They said that he grabbed a 400 pound cow by the tail and threw her 300 feet across the river into the brush. Then they said that a giant bull weighting about 900 pounds roared and charged the Bigfoot and the battle began. The sea lion, mad about the cow being injured, bit the big black creature on the leg and shook mightily to tear it off. But the Bigfoot fought back, pounding the sea lion on the head with thundering blows from his mighty hands. They said that the sea lion put up a tremendous fight, but didn’t have a chance against such a powerful creature as they were watching. They told everyone that the Bigfoot killed him with just four blows that crushed the sea lions head just like an egg shell. Then they said, it picked the dead sea lion up and threw it over his shoulder and disappeared into the woods. They did say that they saw blood pouring from the Bigfoot’s leg which meant that the sea lion had severely injured the creature. They couldn’t tell if the leg was broke or not, but felt it was because of the tremendous amount of blood that was lost. There was blood everywhere they said. There is a hunting party that is assembling to try to track down this beast and capture him while he is wounded. I believe that they are from Japan and they were going to go after him on 11/6/97 and bring him back. Their hunting party won’t give any interviews to the newspapers. They are being silent about it and won’t say one word. I will keep you informed on this important story. It is the first time that a Bigfoot has been injured that we know of. Blood samples were taken by the Japanese Dept. of Wild Life. They refer to the creature as Woo. They feel that there is a mate and baby that belongs to the big male and they intend to catch them also. Well, Ray I will close for now and I will write again just as soon as I find out more information. (editor - don’t know where Noyo River is (Japan?), please let us know when you hear from Dennis again...I can hardly wait.)

They both turned towards each other and said, “did you just see what I saw?”

Sighting Type: 1
Summary: CREATURE ON RIDGE 30 MINUTES, 5-600#, SHINY BLACK, REDDISH ORANGE AROUND EYES 8FT, HID BEHIND TREE
Sighting Text:
CA COUNTY 1996 TR98 * Allen, central Calif. foothills. Told of an older guy that had taken him in the field in 1996 (the older fellow had apparently seen creatures four times). At Sunup they saw 400 yards away, a creature on a ridge. It was visible for 30 minutes, and eventually came straight at them. The black creature when 100 yards away looked like a large 8 foot man-like person. Reddish orange in color around the eyes, like a mask. Everything else was shiny black fur, even the hands were hair covered. Weight about 5-600 pounds, very weary, didn’t realize they were there, and when it did see them, rapidly disappeared behind a pine tree.
