Tom Slick brought Les Brezlie and Ray Kerr in from Mexico to hunt down the Big Foots as they had been seen (also with) cougar and bear tracks traveling with the BF's on the freshly built roads up Bluff Creek. They came to see me and I told them that BF's would kill their dogs and Les told me that big hound has caught jaguars on the ground and killed them in Mexico. They will never kill these hounds. They lost all of their hounds the first month and they came up and asked me for a job as they were equipment operators, so I hired them.

Sighting Type: 3
Summary: 9 FT LONG BF BED WITH DEER BONES, HEEL PRINT

Sighting Text:
CA TR22 (A question about other Bigfoot evidence found) There’s a bed that we found in northern California in 1960. We pick long creeks 30 to 35 miles long, and get up to the ends of them, and then we’d search them. WE were searching a creek, Broadcat Creek, which is about 30 miles long, and I was with a fellow called Jerry Crew (cat driver of BF fame), and we’d walked about ten miles and spent the night. And we’d started down the second day and I saw something yellow on the bank above the stream. We were walking in the water most of the time, because it was very dense with vine maple and hardwood. Anyway, I went up top have a look at this – It was a decaying moss which turns yellow after it decays to a certain stage. There was a pile of this moss in the shape of a big bed, 9 foot long by 4 foot wide. There was an impression as if something had been lying there. The moss had been pulled off of three trees, up to a height of 12-13 feet, and there were no scratches on the trees, no claw marks. Down by the stream there was a single…what looked like a heel print, just one faint heel print, nothing else. In the bed, mixed up, were the bones of two deer. There were two skulls…two deer had been taken in there and eaten…in and around that bed. We found no hairs, and that’s the only sign we’ve found that might have been made by a Bigfoot. email from PB when I couldn't find Broadcat CK Hi Ray >>> Early in the 1960s N.CA.BF Project it was decided, for reasons of security aimed mainly at the "gun wallahs" whose philosophy with the BF was "kill it to prove it" we took to disguising the place names of various areas where we were operating. This may have been Tom's (Slick) idea, I forget. Anyway, there may or may not be a Broadcat Creek. But the creek where Jerry C. and I found the bed was Redcap Creek, east and (maybe) a little south of Willow Creek; the find was about half way down it, i.e., 15 miles downstream from headwaters. The creek's dimensions, as stated, are correct. It was a long, hard hike, I recall, thirty miles in cold water and over rocks and deadfalls from where we

Summary: 14-16 IN TRACKS AROUND EQUIPMENT

Sighting Text:
* Rene' Grandy's Grandpa Gordon McNeil, 88 years old, 3/4 Indian, lives now in Crescent City, CA. He told Dave Byrd that in the fall of 1965 or 66, while he was logging on the Hoopa Indian Reservation, CA, the crew slept out at night near the equipment. About three times a week for four months there would be tracks around the equipment and the 55 gallon drums, but nothing was touched. The tracks 14 to 16 inches long went into the woods and they followed the 5-6 foot strides. Occasionally a logger would catch a blurred glimpse of something moving quickly into the forest. Grandpa said the Indians didn't bother BF, and they don't bother Indians. Think they are their own people. If born retarded or deformed, made to go into the woods. So, couldn't kill BF as believed it was their own people they had cast out.

Hey Yankeesearch, didn’t even know you were in chat, now you have the bug so bad you will have to keep going out to see another one. :)

Anyway, as I stand before God, I did not make this up!
@ yankeesearch « Tue 12:55 am »
Not saying it was Sq/BF/DM/Yeti... but it was strange. And I am locking my doors tonight for sure!
@ yankeesearch « Tue 12:54 am »
And just I was turning away, I thought I heard snort -- which could have been deer or maybe cattle... but... I do not know.
@ yankeesearch « Tue 12:53 am »
I did not have the creepy feeling I normally get in these situations... so I really do not know what to make of it.
@ yankeesearch « Tue 12:53 am »
One detail I forgot to mention: the whoop had almost a human like talk after it on both occasions.
@ yankeesearch « Tue 12:52 am »
I walked back to the other side, and thought I heard a knock...
@ yankeesearch « Tue 12:51 am »
Cattle about 1/8th mile away disappeared... and strangely at that location: it sounded like something banged the metal fence. Not loud... but never ever heard it before tonight.
@ yankeesearch « Tue 12:50 am »
Two whoops... and some deer scattering (they may have been scattering because of me).
@ yankeesearch « Tue 12:50 am »
From 6:20 PM to maybe 6:45 PM CST

I may have just had an encounter!
