IN CLARK 1998 TR#85 * June or July, 1998, Jeffersonville, IN. Near Charlestown, Clark County Hy. 62. Witness was asleep when he heard loud screaming and got up to see what it was. It stopped when he turned on the light, so went back to bed. A few months later was watching “Sightings” when they played a sound track of a Bigfoot that was the same sound....it sent chills up and down witnesses back. The area was close to an old ammunition plant in Jeffersonville. There were a lot of trees in a wet area with a creek and a dried up pond.

* Rick H. called and said he had found a pair of footprints in the mud of the Ohio River a month ago (Aug. 9th?) while searching along the riverbanks for arrowheads. This was in Harrison County; Indiana; at the Floyd County line; 10 miles southwest of Louisville; KY. The 15-16 inch tracks were 5 inches wide; and side by side; as if something had jumped off the bank. * Not sure if significant; but last winter near the same spot a dead deer was strung up in the brush; head up; and guts missing. It possibly could have been a drowning; he said. IN LAWRENCE 1998 TR#86 38 51N 86 29W ELV 710 FT * In early March, 1998, south of Bedford, Indiana, in Hoosier NF. Backpacker saw Bigfoot at 7 PM after hiking several miles and setting up camp. Creature was about 100 yards from a horse trail, and darkness was coming on quickly, and he heard brush noises in a ravine below camp. Witness shown flashlight into area and saw a very tall upright human looking thing hiding in a clump of trees. It was about 7 ft tall, leaning forward to see him, thus exposing head. It was about 40 feet away, had dark hair covering conical head, and dark eyes in front of skull. When witness screamed at it, it moved 6 feet behind another tree where it stayed 2 or 3 minutes before running away (witness was screaming at it all the time). At first light witness checked the site, but there were only some overturned leaves and no prints. Witness notes he had been cooking a pork steak over his fire.

BF flushed from under bridge;farm animals with flesh torn off, Indiana; 1972; BF flushed from hiding place under a railroad bridge over Lilly Creek. Tall furry beast; farm animals injured or maimed...had chunks of flesh torn from their chests or flanks. “Bigfoot All Over The Country;” 1978; Marian T. Place Eagle Creek Park and Eagle Creek Reservoir are located just outside of the I-465 loop on Indianapolis's northwest side. The Lilly pharmaceutical family began acquiring and maintaining the land as a nature preserve in 1936, continuing further land acquisitions for 22 years. Now at over 4,400 acres, Eagle Creek Park is one of the nation's largest city parks, with some ten miles of trails and a wide variety of avian habitats. The park contains deciduous woodlands, conifers, brushy earlier successional areas, grasslands, mudflats, creeks, ponds, and a large reservoir. Because of this tremendous variety of habitat, birding at any time of year can be rewarding.,
