NB KNOX 1979 TR96 ELV 1245 425028N 0975102W BFRO T.S. in the fall of 1979 was near Santee, Hy. 12, Nebraska, at an hour before sunset. Witness was at the Brazile Creek Wildlife area along the Missouri River when about 40 yards away, standing at the edge of a ravine, saw a creature. It was about 7 ft tall with gray hair over the whole body, which was muscular with a very thick neck. It was erect, turning it’s head side to side like it was trying to catch a scent. As it looked at witness, T.S. ducked down, and it was gone when witness looked again. The day before there was a loud scream, but T.S. thought it was a bobcat. It was very long and loud, similar to a female’s scream. A friend of witness was at a deer stand about a mile and a quarter away in the direction the creature went. He later said that, “I probably wouldn‘t believe what ran by his deer stand.” He described the same creature witness had seen. The ravine was some 250 yards from the river in a moderately to heavily wooded area. The marshy area was near chalk rock cliffs.
