Bigfoot in Towns and Cities?

I have noticed in the chat box below on the forums main page that there is questions about whether Bigfoot can be sighting in cities and towns. I think that it is an important enough discussion to bring up here in a thread.
First off, when all other critters have adapted to urban life, such as deer, raccoons, foxes, coyotes etc. why is it so hard to believe that a critter as intelligent as Bigfoot wouldn't? I use a emergency scanner as one of my research tools. Listening for regular prowler calls in the same areas. I've done a couple of sightings/activity reports that had one thing in common. Both had problems with prowlers. Both had the same description. Tall, all dressed in black or dark clothing with a hoodie on. Both would more behind trees when they were spotted or the dogs barked, Both said nothing was ever taken but some things were moved around. This to me is not typical behavior by people. I know in my younger and dumber days if I was caught doing stupid stuff around peoples houses, toilet papering houses, taping car doors shut, the old outhouse moving, etc. and was caught I ran like hell!
We have had discussions with some of the local county police personnel as well as city officers where there are common prowler reports. And interesting enough it seemed to make a lot of sense to them or they at least portrayed it that way. In one of the investigation I was on the family quit calling the cops when the "prowlers" showed up as they had a better understanding on what they were dealing with.
With all the dumpsters, human waste that would be easy picking for coyotes and raccoons, wouldn't ot also be easy picking for bigfoot? The deer come to town for the grass and gardens which is another food source for them. I suspect there are a lot of people on the out skirts of towns and cities could be misidentifying what they see and write it off as a homeless person, kids playing games, prowlers, etc. Especially if it is a reoccurring thing.
