MS CHOCTAW 1998 TR#74 * Henry May, March 4th, 1998, PO Box 344, Boyle, MS 38730. There hasn’t been a great deal of activity to report out here. But I did have a sighting nearly two months ago that you might be interested in. On January 13th, approximately 1:30 AM, I was driving north on US Highway 61, between Choctaw and Shaw. I saw crossing the highway about 50 yards ahead, a bipedal figure. I didn’t get a good look at it then, but I did when I got to the spot where it had crossed. It was standing in a ditch, and here’s the amazing part...it was white! Well, with brown splotches, but very unusual looking. What’s more, it looked just like the “Wampa” Ice Creature from “The Empire Strikes Back: Special Edition!” It didn’t have horns, but it even looked at me the same way the creature did in the movie! I can promise you, I was not hallucinating.

MS PANOLA 1997 TR#82 * From the Internet. Panola County, Miss, near Batesville, a Bigfoot was seen on a country road, Oct. 16th, around 12:30AM, 1997. As reported on the Tupelo, MS, news. The Bigfoot crossed the country road, coming to a stop in front of witness, and stayed in view about five minutes. Witness turned headlights on bright which appeared to anger it, and it charged the car bumping into it and making it move backwards, while screaming in a very high pitched voice. “It was obvious it was a male...seemed to be about eight feet tall and may have weighed 400 pounds. This creature had black hair all over about 2 or 3 inches long, the face and chest area were bare. The skin seemed to be a grayish tone. It had a greenish yellow eye glow. The face was wrinkled with a broad nose. The head was pointed and appeared to have almost no neck. Very broad shoulders and large muscle.” Witness eventually got the car in reverse and comments that this “ is an event that will be with me the rest of my life.” A week later tracks were again reported near Tupalo.

* Oct 1994 TR 42 Henry May report. Just two weekends ago, in the early morning hours of Saturday, Sept. 24th, a sighting occurred down in Greenville, the first new report from that area in 23 years. Our next door neighbor's future son-in-law had one of his future sisters-in-law visiting him for the weekend, and she told me she was playing Nintendo in his trailer (the trailer park is located off Hy. 82 near a wooded area), when she heard a noise from outside. She woke him up to get him to investigate, so he went outside. There, he saw a tall, hairy creature (he didn't say how tall it was, or how much it weighed), and he tried to talk to it, thinking maybe it was a human. It responded with an unusual sound, something like a cow mewing, then it ran off towards the woods. The witness is a reliable person, not given to hallucinations or telling wild tales about anything. I believe this story is quite credible, and very historical, seeing as how this is the first sighting of Bigfoot in Greenville since June 1971.
